We're all ready for some warmer weather, but the groundhog says we still have six more weeks of winter. There are still plenty of ways to make sure you're taking care of your home during the frigid weather. 

• Check your gutters and make sure they are clear of all debris 
• Protect your pipes by adding insulation and checking exterior faucets - disconnect your hoses! 
• Stock up on batteries for your thermostat 
• Have your furnace cleaned and serviced. Change the filter monthly during the winter 
• Seal any holes or cracks that may let in cold air
• Check weather stripping around doors
• Protect outdoor furniture and grills
• Make sure you have enough insulation in your attic
• Have your fireplace inspected, clean and serviced
• Ensure your snow removal tools are functional and accessible
