Spring has sprung in Colorado! It’s the time of year when we are all ready to get outside, enjoy the (warmer) weather and watch our beautiful state bloom again. While some may be getting a head start in the garden or starting their Spring cleaning checklist, others may be looking for something a little different.

There are plenty of unique and entertaining events to attend around the state of Colorado this month!

National Coin Week – April 16th-22nd  https://www.money.org/money-museum-coinweek

National Coin Week

Did you know that next week is the 100th Annual National Coin Week? The theme for the 2023 National Coin week is “Our Money, Our Heritage, Our America”, focusing on how our money tells the story of our country and helps form our national identity. You can celebrate National Coin week at the Money Museum which is a hidden gem right here in our own city, located in Downtown Colorado Springs.

The Money Museum showcases some of the most valuable and historical numismatic treasures. They will be offering free admission to the public April 18th-22nd. There will also be an open house on Saturday, April 22nd from 10:30-5:00 with demonstrations, prizes, drawings, and a trivia contest for a change to win collectible coins!
